Recurring Donations
To ensure seamless donations, you must provide a valid Payment Method (e.g., debit/credit card, UPI, bank transfer). If you opt for a recurring donation, the amount will be automatically charged monthly unless cancelled.
You can cancel by contacting our support team at least 3 business days before the next scheduled billing.
Please note: Donations are generally non-refundable.
General Commitments for Safeguarding Children and Youth
As a supporter or volunteer with Hand In Hand, you commit to the following behavioral expectations:
Treat all children and youth with dignity, free from abuse, coercion, or inappropriate behavior.
Avoid any language, action, or communication that may emotionally, physically, or spiritually harm minors.
Never initiate or participate in romantic or sexually suggestive behavior with anyone under the age of 18.
Do not support or enable harmful traditional practices, trafficking, or exploitative labor involving minors.
If you become aware of abuse or risk to a child, report it immediately through our formal channels.
Commitments to Participants and Their Families
Maintain the confidentiality of participants and their families — even after ending your association.
Never share personal or identifiable information without written consent.
Communicate only through Hand In Hand’s approved channels.
Never visit participants or their homes outside official Hand In Hand arrangements.
Program, Visit & Trip Conduct Guidelines
When visiting any Hand In Hand project, center, or program:
Behave respectfully and in line with local values and cultural sensitivities.
Follow the “two-adult rule” when in enclosed spaces with children.
Refrain from physical discipline, forced travel, or solitary transportation with minors.
Do not take photos or videos without permission and dignity standards.
Participate only in approved and safe activities. Any emergencies must be escalated through our staff.
